01 / The intent

Start with a useful question.

Ideas do not arrive in a tidy structure. Grido explores a flexible place to capture thoughts, arrange them on boards and bring others into a shared space when useful.

Personal and shared Pods provide a simple organising layer. Boards and thoughts support the work inside them, while a mobile-first layout keeps everyday capture close at hand.

02 / Design decisions

The choices behind
the experience.

01

Give ideas a home

Pods distinguish personal and shared spaces without forcing every thought into a heavy project-management model.

02

Make mobile controls comfortable

A bottom navigation, larger touch controls and more readable text support frequent use on a phone.

03

Design for different needs

Keyboard focus, dialog behaviour, reduced motion and a larger-text option were considered during iteration.

03 / AI collaboration

Direction, iteration,
and a working build.

The project began with a thought-capture and collaborative-board brief. I directed iterative ChatGPT/Codex work on mobile usability, text sizing, accessibility details and an installable web-app experience, reviewing the product as it evolved.

04 / Current scope

Live app · account workspace

The app opens into an account workspace. The build history records installable-app support and offline messaging; saving thoughts still requires an internet connection. Accessibility improvements were implemented, but a formal compliance audit is not claimed. The portfolio thumbnail excludes personal workspace content.
