Start with a useful question.
A village-focused marketplace has to feel approachable to customers while connecting their location with a practical service model. The entry experience should ask for useful information without introducing unnecessary complexity.
The supplied demo introduces the service in Marathi and English and asks for a name, village and phone number. It saves a profile in the browser, giving the prototype a lightweight starting point without presenting it as a live commerce launch.
The choices behind
the experience.
01Use familiar language
Offer Marathi and English at the first step, where comprehension matters most.
02Start with service context
Collect the village alongside customer details so the journey is grounded in local fulfilment.
03Design beyond the storefront
The broader project work also explored buyer, administrator and warehouse-manager workflows, recognising that customer experience depends on operations.
Direction, iteration,
and a working build.
ChatGPT-assisted project work covered customer screens, role-based operations, backend structure and handoff documentation. I used the build process to connect the customer journey with the people managing products and fulfilment. The linked browser-profile demo is a separate, narrower presentation of that work.
Demo · no real orders
This link is explicitly a demo: no real orders. The visible profile is stored in the browser and is not evidence of secure account authentication. Broader build history records more extensive commerce functionality, but payments and notification integrations were not connected at that stage.
