01 / Background

Start small. Keep showing up.

The source describes a community-service journey beginning in December 2015. Its emphasis is on sustained relationships, shared participation and work that matters to both the community and the volunteers.

Social service

Respond to community needs through practical activities.

Coordination

Bring people and plans together.

Fellowship

Make participation a shared, continuing commitment.

02 / Kalanidhi

Build a relationship, not just an event.

Project Kalanidhi began in 2017 with co-curricular and extracurricular activities for children in Balatubai, CBD Belapur. The story describes learning, play, planting and festival celebrations as parts of a continuing relationship.

04 / A people-first practice

Listening is a practice outside the screen, too.

This is a community-leadership story rather than a product-design engagement. Its place in the portfolio is the perspective it brings: sustained attention to people, the importance of local context and the effort involved in turning an idea into collective action.

Takeaway

Community work gives human-centred design a lived context. Trust and participation develop through repeated, practical involvement.

Community and leadership work. No product-usability or quantified social-impact result is claimed.
