Dashboard UX and persona work described in the portfolio reference
A connected view of a specialised workflow.
The supplied screens show a patient-workflow summary alongside detailed quality-assurance and treatment lists. This case study focuses on the aggregate workflow views, where progress and waiting states are visible without exposing individual records.
Stage
Understand where work sits in the treatment sequence.
Status
Distinguish activity from waiting states.
Context
Scope the view by institution, machine or treatment criteria.
Let the sequence do some of the explaining.
The summary arranges PlanCHECK, DoseCHECK and fraction stages along a connected path. Stage counts and waiting markers give the overview a readable order.
Use filters to make the overview specific.
Institution and event-status selections appear as visible chips above the sequence. The filtered view preserves the same structure, helping the user interpret a narrower subset without learning a new layout.
Persistent structure
The stages keep their position as the scope changes.
Visible scope
Selected filters explain which subset the overview represents.
In specialised systems, context is part of clarity.
Counts need a stage, a scope and an understandable status to be useful. The design opportunity is to keep those relationships visible while allowing more detailed inspection elsewhere in the product.
A workflow overview is strongest when it shows not only how much work exists, but where that work sits and which context the user is looking at.
The supplied board supports a focused interface study. Clinical effectiveness and usability-test results are not documented.
