Find the right site. Keep the context.
Client work completed during my time at Persistent.
A contact-centre search experience connecting imaging-site filters, map results and detailed site information.
Interface-design work represented by the supplied RadNet screens
A location is more than an address.
The designs bring together imaging modalities, practices, regions, contact information and location. The interface needs to help staff narrow the search while keeping useful site details accessible.
Service fit
Find sites by modality and sub-modality.
Organisational context
Filter by RIS instance, practice or region.
Location
Compare addresses and distance within the results.
Start broad. Narrow deliberately.
Structured filters support multiple entry points into the search. Clear All provides an explicit reset, while the Search action makes the transition from criteria to results visible.
Flexible entry
A user can begin with organisational criteria or an address.
Visible criteria
Selected values remain available above the results.
Two views of the same decision.
The results pair a scannable list with a map. Site codes connect the views; distance sorting, radius choices and directions support a location-based comparison.
Reveal the detail when it becomes relevant.
The detail screen groups contact information, system information, modalities and site notes. This moves dense operational information out of the initial search and into a dedicated view.
A search also needs a way forward when nothing matches.
The source includes both an initial guidance state and a no-results state. A direct prompt to refine the search offers a useful next step instead of leaving the user with an unexplained empty area.
A useful search experience connects criteria, comparison and detail. The next step should remain understandable even when the result set is empty.
